Michigan Girls Scouts of America Storm Damage

Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan’s beloved Camp O’ the Hills underwent major damage during the ice storms that came through Michigan in February and March. The storm caused multiple trees and limbs to fall and damaged row boats, kayaks, and canoes and picnic tables.

During this tough time of recovery, the Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan is asking the community to help bring back what was damaged and destroyed by the storms.

One time and recurring donations can be made to the Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan. These donations will go towards the cost of cleaning up the damage and restoring boats, picnic tables and more.

To help further, Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan is asking anyone with experience with chainsaw work to call 517-667-9582 or email wviers@gshom.org.
