Astronomicon 4 Comes to Ann Arbor for Weekend of Pop Culture

Astronomicon is moving to Ann Arbor this year. Be sure to pick up tickets to this pop culture convention.

Astronomicon is making a comeback this weekend, and this time it’s in Ann Arbor! From 5pm on Friday, August 20 until 5pm on Sunday, August 22, you have a chance to enjoy downtown Ann Arbor and see some of your favorite WWE superstars and musicians at Astronomicon 4!

Astronomicon celebrates its upcoming convention, Astronomicon 4. Although it was originally scheduled to take place in February, COVID restrictions forced the convention to reschedule to the weekend of August 20 to 22. Additionally, they’ve changed locations to ensure the safety of convention-goers. Instead of being at the Wyndham Garden in Sterling Heights, the convention will take place at the Sheraton Hotel in Ann Arbor. This change of venue ensures the safety of all convention participants and gives Washtenaw County locals an easier opportunity to check out the convention.

Get ready to meet some of the biggest names in pop culture, the WWE, and musicians that you love. Highlight guests include Jay Mews (Clerks 1&2, Jay & Silent Bob Franchise), Mick Foley (WWE’s Mankind/Dude Love/Cactus Jack), and Cory Taylor (Slipknot). There will also be an artist alley to explore, different panels to check out, a variety of vendors, and more.

There will also be different events taking place throughout the weekend that won’t require a VIP ticket. This includes cosplay contests, the Astronomicon kick-off pool party, freeplay video game room, and more.

Be sure to purchase tickets before visiting the event. Although you can purchase tickets at the door, you won’t be able to purchase them if that day is sold out. There are plenty of different packages available for purchase. This includes a few VIP packages for those interested in exclusive photo opportunities.

Remember to stay safe while you’re out having fun.
